This Dachenus brand water hose feels sturdy, and yet is lightweight. I'm comparing this Dachenus hose to a popular Zero-G brand hose I already own and to a "kink-free" vinyl rubber hose I bought from a local home improvement store. This Dachenus hose gets slightly shorter when emptied, but does not collapse completely compared Zero-G brand hoses. Also it doesn't contract in length as much. The Dachenus hose is lightweight compared to a kink-free vinyl hose, although not as lightweight as a Zero-G hose. So the hose itself feels like it's in between a lightweight hose and a regular garden hose. The brass connectors at both ends appear to be made well, and connect without any leaks. A small roll of teflon tape was even included, although I didn't use it. A plastic hose spray-head was included in the box, but it looks like cheap and I'm not counting on it lasting very long, especially if you leave it out in the sun all Summer.I’ve had a few and had to return several, but not this one! Great hose, very sturdy!We all know that most garden hoses are not made to last…at least that’s been our experience. This hose seems to be superior to the last few we’ve had, & I’m hoping for the best. Admittedly we’ve only owned & have been using this hose for about 1 month…but so far so good ?. Recommended.Compared to a shorterMeet expectationWhen I ordered this I honestly thought 25 feet would be longer but I wish I had gotten some thing with more footage since the attachment for the waterline is inside my garage by the time I get outside the garage I cannot encircle my car to wash it. I will say that I love all the different nozzle options it’s lightweight and it seems pretty durable I would recommend just make sure you know what footage you needMy wife was always complaining about our existing hose getting kinked and cutting off the water. She had to fight the 50' long snake to full length unwinding the kinks before using every time. This was so ehausting she was rarely able to use it untill the next doy. So the hose layed in the yard two days at a time, at least once a week. If she needed it more often, it layed in the yard 4 days out of 7. It was such a hassel she just started leaving it out all the time... I thought it might be nice to get her one of these flexible hoses to make her life easier and not having the unsigntly thing laying all over the yard all thge time. SO I purchased this Dachenus Expanding Garden Hose.. I took yhe time to read all the instructions. I Used the teflon tape at all connectionn points, making sure they were adequately tight. I have to admit the process of hanging the thing was very easy, and looked good on the hook. The next time she went out to water the plants she came back almost immediately beyond mad an screaming!! What did you do to my hose. It doesnt even work at all now?? I told her to calm down and I would check it out, she probably was doing something wrong. SHOULD HAVE NEVER SAID THAT.. She was right. The srteam was about 6 inches long. What the Hell. I spent the next hour, checking all the connections, the sprayer nozzle, and anything I could think of. Nothing seemed to work. Thank goodness I had not thrown away the old hose. I re-connected it and everything was perfect. Yea the new one looked good and was ahassle to use but at least you could get the job done. I don't have a clue what the problem was , but just returned the hose for a refund.Besides the fact that the connections from the top of the hose keep popping off and I fix it three times it is lightweight it’s a great expanding hose easy to use love the nozzle but I wouldn’t buy it again because it doesn’t stay together
