Crimped the fittings after running the Vintage Air hoses in the car! Haven't vacuum tested it yet, but the crimps look good.Worked greatWorks great. Install head I. Vise makes things easieroriginally i ordered one of these sets that said the package was damaged, what i recieved was somebody's returned tool and i did not know what was missing. i returned that one and bought another set up. this is when i discovered all of the missing parts the other box did not have. this is a very nice set up with a hose cutter and directions on how to use the tool. this was missing in the other set. the one thing that is odd is that they dont tell you which set of crimps to use with each size hose, so you have to pop in each set until you find the set that fits the hose correctly.The case latch was broken when it arrived but the tool crimps just like it should. We crimped 8 A/C fittings with no issues or leaks.Hydro pump is strong, easy to crimp down hard without hurting your hands. came with all of the dies as listed. ordered the 'manual' bolt one and it took gorilla strength to put a good crimp on and needed to be bolted down (returned it because it was missing a die from a different seller).you get what you pay forThis tool did exactly what it was intended for! I bought some aluminum a/c fittings from cold hose and crimped them using this tool. Perfect!Fast delivery and looks like it should work well
