It is exactly what was required and well priced.Will buy again if requiredDenEasy to useI use this product for a dryer vent that has two dryer attached and it really holds the heat inside the vent and makes noiseDon't expect miracles, but it's tough and doesn't tear out along the wire if you cut it. Helps with sounds, but if you're using a high cfm inline duct fan, you will still need to wrap the unit in moving blankets or foam, etc., around the inflow and outflow areas to really reduce the sound. The large filter/silencer attachments work well. But this is better than the standard silver ducting.I use this to vent my cryptocurrency miners and it works very well to help dampen the sound of the fans running constantly, and holds up very well to the constant heat.It does seem to reduce fan noise. The fan sound does not disappear, but I will say it is an improvement over non-insulated ducting.When the product first arrived I had my doubts. It was a lot thinner than most insulated flex tubing I have worked with previously. However, it performs Much Better than Expected for my application. I'm running two DC fans that push 210 CmF @ 28 Db Each ( one on input, one on exhaust). The exhaust has 8' of hose and it has dampened the output @ the end cap to 8 Db. Input screen is showing 2 Db on a 2' hose with a 90, 3' from the output. So this hose worked much better than expected.Large diameter duct for new 6” outlet bathroom exhaust fan. Larger ducts run quieter. Really long too! Enough to do all three bathroom fans with lots left over for future projects.ITS EASY TO INSTALL. I USED IT FOR MY PORTABLE HEATER.
